Antique Farahan Rug 3'3'' x 4'9''

This west Farahan village scatter shows a sandy straw field with closely set reversing rows of floriated botehs in half-drop array. Clearly this is a textile originated design. Very slender main border of diamonds and X' s. Fine weave, cotton foundation, good condition.
