Antique Haji Jalili Tabriz Rug 4'2'' x 5'3''

From the desirable â€ڑأ„أ؛Hajji Jalili'' period, roughly from 1885 to 1910, this well-woven, NW urban scatter shows a creamy Sand field with an allover Herati rosette, open diamond, lancet leaf and palmette design, neatly framed by a coral main border with a stripâ€ڑأ„أ¬style layout of reversing turtle palmettes and alternating rosettes. Good condition with a brisk, low-clipped pile.
