Khorassan Rug 6'0'' x 9'0''

A two level beige ogival lattice design with an additional layer of scrolling vinery, is anchored by acanthus palmettes, stencil turtle palmettes and pointed ovals, in a pattern reminiscent of Arts and Crafts interpretations of classic Kerman 17th century â€ڑأ„أ؛Vase Carpet'' designs. There is slight abrashing to the saturated blood red field, and details are executed in straw, rust, near black and shades of beige/cream. Red border with plenteous barbed leafery. Attractive carpet. Medium urban weave on cotton foundation. New condition.
