Antique NW Runner 3'0'' x 11'3''

Offset reversing rows of red and ecru small botehs uniformly decorate the navy field while an ecru border with profile palmettes and tiny buds on a trapezoidal meander surrounds it. The top red boteh extensions have a fountain-like effect. ''Northwest '' applies to any, usually runner (Kenare), pieces from villages throughout Azerbaijan province which cannot be more precisely attributed. Moderate/medium weave.
